Burlingame Chamber of Commerce

The Chamber represents and promotes the area's business economy, and encourages business and industrial investment, broadening the tax base and providing employment. To business prospects and newcomers, the Chamber represents the community's pride and self image.

Chambers of commerce are increasingly involved in non-commercial areas, such as education, human relations, environmental, cultural and governmental concerns. These challenges have caused Chambers of Commerce to become a viable force in seeking solutions to today's social problems. Chambers of Commerce influence national, state and local legislation affecting business.

The major responsibilities of the Burlingame Chamber of Commerce are the community's well-being, cultural development, educational opportunities and civic enrichment which enhance the area's overall business climate.

The Burlingame Chamber of Commerce strives to develop and publicize business opportunities in the community, as well as work for the betterment of local schools and other community institutions. Burlingame Chambers of Commerce offers a range of programs and services to our members, including information and advice on timely business matters, opportunities for networking, and a variety of publications.The Chamber of Commerce also provides members with numerous forums—task forces, committees, special events, and so on—in which to express their specific views and concerns, whether pertaining to the challenges facing small businesses or to the issues surrounding local, county and state-wide commerce.

Every 4th Friday the Burlingame Chamber of Commerce holds a $5 Feed and Poker Night Fundraiser hosted by the Santa Fe Cafe

The Cafe closes from 4 to 5pm and reopens for the Feed!

Proceeds go toward City events and Business retention, marketing and promotion of the City of Burlingame as a place to visit, live and thrive!
